![]() Aren't you as excited as I am that spring is here?? YEY! How are y'all doing? Hope this newesletter finds you well. It's going to be a short one this time as we have had a very busy time on the home front which I'll be sharing about. Music wise we only had one extra concert (besides playing in OK) in March for Place Of Hope's "Empty Bowls" Fundraising Event in St. Cloud. So I'm gonna jump right in. PERSONALLY: You should see our livingroom and kitchen!! We had the crazy idea to remodel the kitchen cabinets, so now they as well as the contents are sitting in my livingroom! Stuff ALL OVER THE PLACE! No sink or counters.....sooo.....we've been "camping" eating Taco Bell on paper plates!! Viva Taco Bell!!! Our trip to Oklahoma to see Warren's mom was SO cool! It just revived me to see family, get to help mom with her garage sale, help pack stuff up, hang with the sisters in law, see long time friends and have a crazy time together - and spend time with hubs for a whole week without bus trips or interruptions! NICE! On Friday next week (April 14th) I'll be holding my very first LIVE Facebook Class about how Essential Oils have made such a difference in my wellness journey as Warren and I are working on getting chemical free and staying healthy. If you are interested, email me back and I'll add you to the Facebook event (if you are on Facebook). At some point (when the house is back together) I want to do a Make-N-Take class at my home. So if you want to know more about how Essential Oils are helping me, I'd love to share with you, just let me know that you'd like to be notified when I do the home class. I'm also thinking about doing another jewelry open house before I leave for the tour. However THAT all depends upon if my kitchen is back to being functional and my livingroom cleared out of all the stuff piled in it! If not, I may just see if I can have a class room at our church to set up for the day. I'll keep you guys posted.... MUSIC: March's newsletter was sent when we were down in Oklahoma, so I pretty much already shared about the music opportunities we had while on the road. Once home, the following weekend was the "Empty Bowls" event, an annual fundraiser for Place Of Hope in St. Cloud, MN. Place of Hope cares for the homeless and those who need extra help and Empty Bowls is a reminder that someone's bowl somewhere is often empty. This year the event was on a Saturday which was actually very cool because it could be held longer hours than before on a Sunday. This time there were also lots of artisan vendors present who all contributed to the event as well. Lots of 'live music' throughout the building by amazing artists and musicians who donated their time! It was so cool, because where my booth was set up, I could hear the artists from the front lobby and some who were playing in the Multi Purpose Room! Perfect spot for sure! Warren and I played in the Fellowship Hall this year which was an experience! LOL! I'm SO grateful for Pat our soundman, because he made miracles happen with the system that was there! However it was SO fun to see my little "fan/groupie" gang come to enjoy the event and music! THANK YOU all SO much for coming! As we miss our families, you guys are the family away from the family, if you know what I mean. You are very much appreciated and loved! We can't wait to see you again! Unfortunately we don't have any pictures from that event of us playing. Anyone took any pictures? Psalm 100 Scripture
1 Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth. 2 Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing. 3 Know that the LORD Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. 4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. 5 For the LORD is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting And His faithfulness to all generations. Archives
